I
am
EXHAUSTED!
I realize this statement makes me sound lame and quite a wuss considering the many thousands of people that hit the pavement for a 26.2 run today. I can sit here and justify my tiredness (frosting homemade poptarts until 2 in the morning, flipping bacon, egg scrambling, cheering on runners, etc.) but the comforts of my bed and another couple chapters from A Homemade Life, Stories and Recipes From My Kitchen Table are calling to me. But before I call it a night, I wanted to share some pictures. What a fantastic day. I was very happy with the way the way everything came out and enjoyed the day with some great company. I promise to follow up later in the week with recipes, especially on the poptarts, those were fantastic! (And my coworkers will be happy to know that the leftovers are headed their way tomorrow..)
