Weekend Giveaway!

The nice folks at Stop and Shop contacted me last week to see if I'd be interested in giving one of my readers a $25 gift certificate as well as a little prize pack, chock full of goodies. If you're interested in getting your hands on it, all you have to do is leave me a comment telling me about the meal you would make with the gift certificate. And of course, a bonus entry will be given if you Tweet about it, you'll just have to be sure to mention me (@The_SBK) in the Tweet so that I can count the bonus entry. The winner will be randomly selected on Monday morning (2/20) and the prize pack with the gift certificate will be shipped out to the winner once I have their address.

Good Luck!

Great giveaway! My Stop & Shop has some great produce so I'd pick up some Brussels sprouts, pancetta (I know it is not produce), garlic and onion to make a warm winter salad!

I haven't had a steak in a while, so I would buy a few of those and some asparagus to go with it! :)

I would make the Valentine's Day Paella that you just posted! It looks so good.

First, I would make the white bean hummus that you made my family, which was AWESOME. And then I would plead with you to send me your ratatouie recipe. Maybe a side of honey glazed carrots too. And some home made challah.

And then I would make chocolate chip pie for dessert, which my kids love. And a BIG platter of strawberries.

I think a big serving a spaghetti & meatballs sounds good - with a side of garlic bread and salad!

My dream last night involved enjoying a gorgeous cheese platter (I know, much better than dreaming about showing up to class in just my underwear!) so I'm itching for a nice grilled cheese sandwich, using cheese from their terrific cheese case, a nice thick loaf of bread, and a nice jam slathered in it, as well, to make it all warm and gooey. To top it off, we'd end the meal with Klondike bars, just because.

I'd get ingredients for pasta sauce and for my lemon angel pie. I'd buy fresh pasta. Then I'd have friends over and have a night of classic comfort food!

I've been meaning to make a veggie mexican lasagna. It's tortillas, salsa, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, mexican cheese, corn, onions, peppers layerd and baked. Yum! I'd also add guacamole and sour cream on the side.
