Happy Holiday Greetings! As this year winds down and another one is about to begin, I can't help but be anxious and excited about new recipes and new dishes that this next year (and decade for that matter) will bring. After a couple day long hiatus focused around family, friends, and eating (the three most important things in my life) I couldn't wait to get back to my own kitchen and back to creating new recipes. Bursting with inspiration (and some new really cool cooking gadgets - thanks Mom!) I'm ready to create a proper send off to 2009 and offer a welcome hello to 2010 by hosting a New Year's party.
Although there is no picture of tonight's creation, (which was a VERY large salad consisting of MANY vegetables to help detox from the overindulges of this past week) there is much to come. I'm really looking forward to creating a hearty spread of appetizers for my friends and to help get the new year (and decade) started right.
Stay tuned- I'm off to draft up my grocery list!
