Wanna Get Mixed Up With The SBK? Enter My First Giveaway!

The Small Boston Kitchen has teamed up with CSN Stores to bring you the first SBK Giveaway!

A little about CSN stores: Boston-based company (yay local!) that is top 3 among retailers of home and office goods, meaning you can get everything from kitchen knives to corner tv stands to beautiful stainless steel blenders, like the one I am giving away today.

Can I just tell you how freaking excited I am to be hosting my very first giveaway?!

So in my best game show announcer voice, please allow me to explain the details of the contest:

There are five (yes, five!) ways that you can enter:
1. Leave a comment on my site
2. Tweet about this contest, one of your favorite recipes from my site, or my blog in general
3. Become a fan of my Facebook fan page
4. Update your Facebook status with info on this contest, a link to one of my recipes, or just a link to my blog
5. Connect with me on my blog via Twitter, Gmail, etc (that means you click on the little "follow" icon on the right hand side of my page)

And now for the rules:

When you complete one of the four items above, let me know.  You can do so by leaving me a comment or dropping me an email (KNBarszcz@gmail.com).  You can enter as many times as you'd like and the person with the most entries wins.....
(Cue the Vanna White look-alike, some terrible game show music, maybe some flashing lights and an announcer doing a voice-over)

A Small Boston Kitchen necessity, this stainless steel blender would make a fine addition to any sized kitchen.  Voted a Cook's Illustrated Best Buy, (Click here to read the Cook's Illustrated product review) this multi-function blender is perfect for making pestos and salsas, pureeing soups and sauces, or just blending together the perfect smoothie.  With the warmer weather coming, maybe even a margarita or other frozen beverage is the way to go?  Whatever your mood, you'll find plenty of uses for this sweet little blender.

This contest ends on Sunday May 2, at midnight and the winner will be announced during Monday's post.  The winner will then be asked to send me his/her address so the wonderful folks at CSN stores can ship out the prize.

Good Luck!

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.  (I have no idea what that means but I think you're supposed to add it at the bottom of things like this, right?)

i swear my comment is not purely in hopes of a blender. but i do have a suggestion - have you thought about adding a search feature on your site? last night i was looking for a marsala sauce that i remember seeing awhile back and was thinking a search box would be awesome. please don't ask me how to put one on a website....

Thank you first contestant! To show you how quickly I like to respond to my readers, I added a toolbar, powered by Google on the right side of my page...

I have a kickin' blender, so don't take someone else's chance away from them . . . but just wanted to say congrats on your first giveaway! Wahoo!

I tend to use my food processor a lot or my hand blender but I definitely could use one of these gorgeous blenders! Crossing my fingers for the giveaway!

Thanks all for the entries, keep 'em coming! Only a couple days left!

I think you do the game show announcer voice very well.
So my blender broke down ... well, it was producing black smoke, and we thought it best to retire it. So count me in ...

Is this a joke?
I don't really plan on flooding you with nonsense emails and useless comments just to win...

What a cool opportunity. The only blender I have is the magic bullet and it's not that great!

Thank you all for the comments and playing along!

Beetle, this is no joke. The point is for you to take a look at my blog, read through the recipes and leave me some comments on them, not send random emails. I'm looking for people to get into this. There are fabulous prizes (well, one really!) at stake!

woot woot - blended soups are even better from a blender (rather than my grandma's old food processor!). Great pick for the giveaway!

Sorry, but I really think this must be a bit of a waste of time to be counting up all the emails and posts you are getting just to find out who's submitted the most. Anyway, good luck with your blog, and with promoting your blog.
I think I prefer when the winner is selected at random, however -- it somehow seems more fair. I think I'll go out and buy a new blender now b/c I obviously won't be winning this one. I don't have the energy necessary to compete in a competion of this nature.

I don't mean to sound rude! I've just never seen another blog giveaway designed like this one.

Wow, I've already left 3 comments, and this is my fourth, so maybe I'll win that blender after all. LOL.
