Easy Holiday Cookie Recipe: Snickerdoodle Brownies

Snickerdoodle Brownies
Don't make these brownies if you don't want your house to smell like all of the best smells that represent this time of year got together and then died and went to heaven in your kitchen.  I'm talking smells of warm cinnamon sticks and buttery delightfulness and sweet sugary goodness twirling and whirling out of your oven, into your kitchen and throughout your house.

I came across this recipe while poking around on my friend Jen's blog for some easy holiday recipes of the baked good variety and this one caught my eye.  It possessed all of the characteristics that I usually look for when baking: easy, awesome and most importantly, not requiring many ingredients (even better if I just so happen to have all ingredients on hand).  Fitting all of these qualifications while combining all of the cinnamony deliciousness of an actual Snickerdoodle cookie (but at about half the work), these Snickerdoodle brownies are officially my new favorite.

Those look beeeautiful. I have a special place in my heart for snickerdoodles. Though when I saw the name I thought you may have been combining snickerdoodles and chocolate, which would be craazy.

Snickerdoodle ANYTHING is delicious, but in brownie form it's even better!

These look awesome! And they made me think, didn't you give me a yummy recipe last year involving chocolate, cranberries and pistachios? Do you have it on your blog? I want to make it for Xmas presents this year. And pistachios are so hot right now--they're the new almond :).

the thought of a cinnamony snickerdoodle cookie all puffed up into a brownie is overwhelmingly appealing.
