What's Cookin' Up In Your Kitchen Giveaway

Hi blogasphere, Oh how I’ve missed you.  I took a couple days off to tend to some family things but now I’m back, ready to tie up my apron strings, grab my whisk and hit up the kitchen.  Ohhh how I’ve missed my Small Boston Kitchen…

To help celebrate my return from a little time off, I thought I’d start by offering up a little contest.  I’ve teamed up with the folks at Chobani (yes, the same Chobani that churns out amazingly deliciously thick Greek yogurt) to host a little giveaway and four lucky readers are going to be scoring themselves three "VIP coupons" each good for a container of Chobani yogurt!

www.Chobani.com
So why am I offering up Chobani?  Well, that’s an easy question for me to answer.  I’ve been obsessed with Greek yogurt ever since I discovered it.  I especially love the fruit in the bottom ones (in my book, the pineapple one is out of this world).  I like to start my day with a Chobani for breakfast, with some granola (preferably of the homemade kind) mixed in and I also love to use it in the kitchen.  To me, it’s a great way to add thickness to sauces and dips without added fat and calories.  Heck, I even add some to my turkey burgers to make them extra flavorful and nice and juicy.  In addition, Greek yogurt has huge amounts of protein and is made from all-natural ingredients (perfect for this month's challenge!).  I also love the rich texture it provides and in my opinion, the fruit flavors taste way better than other brands of yogurts.

So how do you score yourself some deliciously thick Greek yogurt?  Easy.  To enter, leave me comment and tell me how you enjoy Chobani Greek yogurt from your own Small (insert location here) Kitchen.  Maybe you make a yummy little dip or killer sauce with it, maybe you just enjoy the blueberry flavored one with fresh sliced peaches in it (yum).  Either way, I want to hear about it by Monday, November 1st at midnight.  The four winners will be randomly chosen and announced on Tuesday, November 2nd, so be sure to check back to see if you are a winner!  Only one entry per person, please, unless you want a bonus entry, which can be obtained by tweeting “Check out the “What’s Cookin’ Up In Your Kitchen” giveaway hosted by the @The_SBK!” or something to that effect..just be sure to include my Twitter handle (@The_SBK) so I can count it!

Good Luck!

ok, I'll play along because I love greek yogurt. the plain and vanilla are my favorites. The plain yogurt is great added to soups or used as part of the marinade for chicken (with Indian spices).

My favorite way to eat it is for breakfast, with a oat-y muffin crumbled into it. Almond butter/granola is delicious in it too. My fave flavor is honey. Hmmm... I want some now. :)

From my small Shenandoah Valley Kitchen-
Plain mixed with lemon juice, turmeric, and curry spices used to marinate chicken then grill.
Soon Chobani will release lemon yogurt and can't wait to try that one out in recipes.

My favorite way to eat my Chobani is with granola! Preferrably, vanilla Cho with honey oat granola and dried cherries! It's such an indulgent dish that I've completely replaced my evening ice cream with this treat and still feel like I'm cheating!!! Divine!

I must confess...I'm addicted to pineapple Cho. I love it straight up. Nothing to interfere with it's sweet, yumminess. I wouldn't say my life has become unmanageable as a result of my Cho. But I cannot go a day without it. My Little Hamburg Kitchen is always stocked with plenty of Chobani.

I love 0% plain mixed with rolled oats, mashed banana, almond milk, topped with almond butter and crofters. Chobani makes the best over night oats!

I also love vanilla chobani mixed with pumpkin topped with granola and pumpkin seeds! or vanilla on top of a pumpkin oatmeal pancake!

Best ever!

That's easy! I love to use the plain Chobani as a substitute for sour cream in my sour cream bread recipe. The best part is that one container is the exact measurement I need, so no leftovers to worry about spoiling! And the bread is wonderful. From my small Shenandoah Valley Kitchen-
Pour plain in a blender and add frozen strawberries, peaches, etc., and juice. Whip up a fabulous pre-exercise drink and hit the trails!

I do love Chobani (pineapple) eaten by itself, but now that it's Fall, my favorite way to enjoy Chobani is using the plain flavor to top off my turkey and chicken chili! http://www.confessionsofachocoholic.com/recipes/turkey-and-chicken-chili

i use it for pretty much anything in my small boston kitchen ;) the plain variety is my go-to sub for sour cream in other recipes! i also use it as a base to make my own fruity yogurts with chopped fresh fruit, a little honey/maple syrup/agave and ground flax or wheat germ for some crunch.

I eat Chobani every morning from my small Tucson kitchen. Being a student at the University of Arizona, I am always on the go and Chobani is a perfect way to get my morning fill. I like to eat the plain yogurt with honey, granola and blueberries and raspberries! Please pick me! I love Chobani!

From my own small Chicago kitchen I just recently started eating Chobani yogurt & I love it! My favorite is the blueberry one & also vanilla with my own added fruit. I haven't been able to find the pineapple one that people are talking about on here yet...

I love to pair strawberries and blueberries with plain Chobani. The sweetness from the berries combined with the tang from the yogurt is tasty!

I love to use the plain flavor as a dip for baked sweet potato fries and quesadillas, and also on burgers as well! Topped with pretty much any fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey, it's often my go-to after lunch or dinner treat.... all enjoyed from my Small Boston Kitchen too :)

I add plain cho to soups to make them creamy, muffins to make them super moist and to my chicken salad as an alternative to mayo.

I LOVE the pineapple in my oats with mashed banana and just by itself. It's decadent.

The plain nonfat Chobani is my favorite and since holiday season is almost upon us, I make cranberry relish using 1 bag of fresh cranberries, 1/2 cup sugar, chopped walnuts, and either sliced orange or tangerine segments. The relish stirred into the yogurt is delicious.

The plain nonfat Chobani is my favorite, and I love to mix it with oats and fruit to make a great (and portable) breakfast!

Chobani is the BEST! I mix the non fat plain with just a touch of honey and dill, and then dress just barely steamed and cooled broccoli with it! Delicious!

I love Chobani yogurt - I added a dollop of the plain flavor to the Gingered Butternut Squash Soup I made last night (The Hungry Poodle's recipe, highly recommended! http://www.hungrypoodle.com/recipes/gingered-butternut-squash-soup/ )

It was a big hit. I also top oatmeal with it & toasted almonds for breakfast.

I love Chobani yogurt. I love the pineapple flavor on its own, but the plain favor is awesome topped with honey and some toasted walnuts -- a great dessert alternative!

In my Quincy kitchen, I am addicted to their Pomagranite yogurt. I have never had the plain but I will have to try it.

From my own small (and I mean tiny!) New York Kitchen, I enjoy the pomegranate, peach, raspberry, blueberry, or strawberry varieties of Chobani Greek yogurt for breakfast at work with a granola bar. I love that the ingredients are all natural and there's no gelatin in them.

I discovered Chobani years ago when my college convenience store started stocking it. That was an awesome find. I love eating plain yogurt with frozen fruit actually. I let it sit for a minute so the fruit can thaw and then I love mixing it up and seeing the color of the fruit slowing dye the yogurt. It's very pretty.

From my small kitchen in St. Paul, I love Chobani's pinneapple and strawberry flavors straight up. They are so yummy! And good for you! What could be better? :)

I just started getting Chobani recently and absolutely love the strawberry banana flavor. I also recommended these products for a friend with a little girl who is allergic to soy, eggs, nuts, and corn. She has a hard time finding good yogurt for her without corn syrup in it, but Chobani fits the bill!

i eat greek yogurt every day. either a smoothie in the morning with cottage cheese, frozen fruit, protein powder, a splash of apple juice and almond milk - or straight up with fruit and nuts.

i use it in lieu of sour cream - so i make healthy burritos and use it!
